Happy First Day of Spring!

Two new Woolkeeper offerings to celebrate Spring.

 Peep! Peep!
7" x 9" Wool Applique Banner
Three peeping baby chicks are the stars of this springtime basket of blue flowers. Flowers, chicks and bow are all hand dyed wools.

New Beginnings
  8" x 8" Wool Applique Banner
A beautiful hand dyed blue sky is the background for this celebration of Spring’s new beginnings. Flower buds cover the hill. Trees are full of new blossoms and the tulips are blooming. A sweet sheep sports a tulip blanket this time. A lavender/pink wreath helps announce the new season.

An Old Irish Blessing

May love and laughter light your days,
And warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
Wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
With joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
Bring the best to you and yours.

Cotton Works in Progress

Appliqueing little hearts from scraps. No pattern. Just drew a heart.

Having fun appliqueing these Baby Baskets. Pattern from Sentimental Stitches. https://sentimentalstitches.myshopify.com

Piecing a few Kim Diehl patterns using her fabric collection Katie’s Cupboard. This is from the Simple Whatnots Club 6. Also working on the “Journey’s End” quilt. I love house quilts!!

Dresden Plate patterns are one of my favorites. I’m working on the “Sweetie Pie Quilt” by Lori Holt. It has Dresden Plates and applique.  I am using Lori’s fabric collection Sew Cherry 2.

A dear Woolie friend gave me this sweet little lamb. She keeps me company at my desk when I am writing patterns for Woolkeeper®.
