Yikes! I can’t believe
it-my first blog post. Sending many thanks to Karen from Valentine Designs for
her beautiful work and her patience with me in making my blog possible. Thanks
Karen! You’re wonderful!
If you are among the
winter weary, check out the new Spring Things at Woolkeeper.com. This Bunny, Mrs. Fluffles, will make
you think Spring. She is a 5” diameter Pin/Needle Keep with embroidered
embellishments.
Yesterday I took a day
away from all things woolie and took a paper piecing class at Prairie Stitches
Quilt Shoppe. Susan and Jill taught us all about paper piecing using the log
cabin block pattern by Cindi Edgerton. I’ve paper pieced before, but never had
tried tissue paper foundations. It’s fun! Here are some blocks up on my design
wall. I’m already thinking of adding wool applique in the middle section. Maybe
a sprinkle of flowers would work there. What do you think?
Looking forward to all the beautiful works and words from Woolkeeper's Blog! I think this has to be the LOVELIEST blog I have ever seen!!! But then I am not surprised, all your work is soooo LOVELY! Teresa
