I just returned from a wonderful trip to Pittsburgh, Pa. for the Spring International Quilt Market. Pittsburgh is a city of lush, rolling green hills, rivers and bridges. We had rainy days so the photos look gray.
During Market the convention center is alive with creative energy. I got so caught up in this haven of visual eye candy that I forget to take pictures even when it was allowed. Here's a few.
Some photos from Edyta Sitar's booth. Once again, she has some gorgeous fabric, patterns and quilts coming for us. Oh, and even a children's book complete with a quilt pattern.
I saw many, many lovely new fabric lines. One that really inspired me was American Made Brand by Clothworks. It is a line of 50 gorgeous cotton solids that is all made and even grown here in the United States. It was wonderful to see an All-American fabric.
There was apparel of all kinds,
A few of the many stunning quilts.
I bought a lot of beautiful wool for Woolkeeper and was able to take some home with me.
I ordered yards and yards of hand-dyed wools that will soon be coming in the mail. Happy, Happy!
